Too many boys grow into troubled men due to their silent, bitter struggles with what life has dealt them. They need a lifeline to help raise their perspective to see there’s more in store than what meets the eye.

Thankfully, that’s what friends like you provide through your support of Safe Harbor and initiatives such as the scholarship program – which one young man named Derek used to transform his life. His parents recently shared…

“When our son arrived at Safe Harbor, he was lost, angry, and overwhelmed with what life was giving him. The administrators and staff gently pulled us in for the help that we desperately needed for our son and for ourselves. Through their patience, wisdom and determination, our son began his journey to healthy healing and has had an extraordinary transformation into a young man.

It took a village for our son and Safe Harbor was there for him. It is truly humbling to see how much they care for the boys and their dedication to helping each boy in his individualized stage of growth or healing. I do not want to think about what our situation would be if Safe Harbor had not been there.”
